Attention: Orchard Supply Hardware
Assistant Store Managers
You may be owed back wages.
If you were employed by Orchard Supply Hardware as an Assistant Store Manager anytime between January 24, 2014 and the present, you may be owed money.
We believe that OSH has misclassified its ASMs as exempt when they should be classified as nonexempt because ASMs spend most of their time doing the same kind of work hourly employees do. This means that if you are working over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week you should be receiving overtime compensation. Additionally, we believe that OSH fails to reimburse its ASMs for ordinary business expenses such as having to use your personal phone for work. We believe that these practices are illegal under California Law.
